Depending upon the project validity of the permit shall be Maximum one year.

The permit includes all coastal or marine construction and contracting projects in Dubai waters.

Stages of Permit Issuance

After completing all requirements, coastal or marine project construction permit shall be issued in two stages as follows:

First Stage: request assessment

Required Documents:

1. Request letter to issue coastal or marine project permit attached with project details.
2. Commercial license copy of project owner (For private sector).
3. Commercial license copy of project contracting company (If any).
4. Copy of project plan and location map.
5. Commercial license copy of organisation handling project follow up reports.
6. NOC from the competent authorities.
7. NOC from owner in case of privately owned areas.
8. Certified letter awarding the project to the contracting company, with all title deeds.
9. Project environmental impact report.

Second Stage: permit issuance

After reviewing all required documents, the coastal or marine project construction permit will be issued while ensuring absolute compliance with DMCA rules who reserves its rights to reject the application in case the concerned party fails to meet the requirements. Additionally, DMCA inspectors shall have the right to visit the site in order to ensure its compliance with safety standards and marine rules.
